Christoph Lipka ist ein zweisprachiger Mensch. Nicht dass ich Englisch mit der Muttermilch aufgesogen hätte, aber als Sohn eines Englischlehrers habe ich früh Freundschaft mit der Sprache geschlossen. Daher (und weil einige Texte ohnehin an eine internationale Zielgruppe gerichtet sind) gibt es auf meinen ÜberSeiten sämtliche Informationen sowohl in Deutsch als auch in Englisch (so jedenfalls der Plan).
About me
Christoph Lipka is a bilingual person. While I cannot claim to call it my mother's tongue, being the son of an English teacher I have developed a deep friendship with this language early in my life. Therefore (and because some of the texts are aimed at an international audience anyway) I provide all information on these pages in both German and English language (at least that's the plan).
For the curious: The title of my pages is a play on the German preposition "über" (which translates to "about" in this case) and the meme-ish prefix "uber-" (in the sense of "super-" "hyper-", "mega-" or the like), which quite obviously has its roots in the very same German word (possibly via the Nazi-German "Übermensch" terminology).
